Armor's first pumper was a 1922 American LaFrance purchased from the Hamburg Fire Department. The funds to purchase this pumper were raised through rummage sales & carnivals.
In February of 1955, the Armor Fire Company added a Rescue to their services. It was a used 1950 Ford Step in & Drive Model Van purchased for $500.00.
Armor's first aid squad was formed in January 1967. The crew was called "Armor Squad 4" and the ambulance was Armor 4. The first ambulance purchased was a used 1962 Cadillac.

Our new light rescue vehicle- Armor 7-1 was put into service on November 8, 2023. The truck was dedicated to the memory of deceased member Jerry Pohle in recognition of his many contributions to our Fire Company. 2 hours after being put in service, Armor 7-1 answered its first call!
